Guru Nanak Mercantile Company was founded in 1948 by the late Sh. Siri Ram Ahuja and rebranded as Kastek (India) in 1989. As one of the pioneering export companies in Punjab, Kastek (India) began exporting in the early 1960s, introducing products like Charcoal Irons, Meat Mincers, Cereal Grinders, and allied items under the "GMC" brand to markets across the Eastern Hemisphere.
For decades, Kastek (India) has specialized in the manufacturing and export of iron and steel products. Now under the stewardship of the third generation of the family, the company has diversified its portfolio to include Hand Tools, Garden Tools, Leather Tool Kits, and Building Hardware.
